Scott Jackson has a passion for music that started before he ever picked up a guitar. Much of his childhood was spent listening to classic folk artists like Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor and Crosby Stills Nash & Young, forming the acoustic roots that identify his music. After the tragic loss of his mother at the age of 11, Scott began playing the guitar as a way to get his mind off of more serious matters. With years of fingerstyle guitar practice under his belt, he threw his voice into the mix and began writing songs. This would lead to a deeper love for music that has grown into a steady stream of original songs recorded in Scott's home studio.
Scott's first album "A Chance to Fly" was released in June 2017 and is currently being promoted around the Seacoast/Boston area. The album features songs of adventure, heartbreak and a love for nature. Scott's second album is in progress and is expected to release in 2018.
