The lives of Sam and Dan both started out much the same. New England raised and Boston braised, Dan and Sam started out their musical journeys on the path to rock and roll stardom. But, somewhere along the way, Sam and Dan came to the great altar of classical music at New England conservatory and there did Dan and Sam meet. But again fate would have it that both Dan and Sam would set sail on a voyage through the vast sea of American folk music and eventually would help to form the Boston based acoustic quartet Ruthless Moon. 
But what do Dan and Sam do as two? I'll tell you what: they play that sweet sort of music that you want to hear at a bar when you are feeling most lonesome and sentimental. Old songs, swing standards, country crooners, and hillbilly ballads. Sam and Dan join forces to serve you their favorite songs played on an assortment of instruments in a variety of styles.
