Bebop Songwriter Series

Adriel Borshansky

Adriel is a singer songwriter based in Boston. He performs solo shows, writes for and collaborates with other artists, composes music for film and creates Jewish music. After getting his start in music as a jazz drummer in New Jersey, Adriel began finding his own voice as a songwriter. Jazz can still be heard  in his simlple arrangements, but his songwritering has taken on a life of its own. He has recorded three full length albums, written original music for documentary films, and produced a ‘’song a day’’ project throughout 2015-2016. As a live performer, he has headlined at the Mddle East in Cambridge, The Bitter end in NYC, and the block the Stage music festival in Bulgaria.

Grant Bloom Music

Right in the middle of the vast suburbia that connects Dallas and Fort Worth Texas, Grant Bloom fell in love with music as a young kid on the swing set in his backyard with the radio playing through his headphones. On the brink of adolescence he began writing songs on an old guitar built by his uncle. Over the next decade, his edges were sharpened by countless nights spent competing against the sounds of the coffee shop lenders, the dull roar of the dinner crowd, The Cowboys vs the Eagles on TV at the bar. What’s left is a performer who is bold and vulnerable, a tapestry of soulful sound stretched across the pillars of Rnb, Rock and Americanna. Having transplanted to Boston in 2016, Grant continues to reach higher in his writing and performing, trying to get our attention.
