Rick Drost
Rick Drost, a singer songwriter series from Cambridge, MA has been writing song since the late 60s with depth and heart, storytelling songs that repay repeated listening and convey a long love of classical music, natural wonders, poetry. His songs treat life from a varied angles- Jilited lovers, Swans in the Public Garden, Leftover Lobsters and mediation’s on Meditation. Longtime inspiration came from Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen; recent influences includeVaunce Gilbert and David Wilcox. Ricks debut solo CD, Turning the World , was released in June 2017, produced by Jon Shain(Durham, NC), hit 57 on the June Folk DJ charts, and continues to get airplay from Europe across America to New Zealand. Rck had played coffeehouses and small festivals from New England to Colorado to the Southwest.
Rea(Maria White) is a singer songwriter from St. John Newfoundland. Rea’s lyrics have been described as a honest ad witty, her harmonies smart and natural. Her style is unique and yet shows influences of such artists as Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan and Priscilla Ahn. Rea recently attended a Songwriting workshop at Berklee College of Music in Boston and had the good fortune of performing at th eCafe 939. Rea is currrently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. She is studying Songwriting and will graduate with a Professional Music Diploma.
