Every Wednesday night at the Bebop is Bluegrass Night! Come and enjoy some of Berklee's most talented bluegrass musicians playing everything from Flatt & Scruggs to Della Mae. All Bluegrass musicians are welcome to come and join in!
About the Host:
Jobi Riccio is a 19 year old singer/songwriter, guitar and mandolin player from Morrison, Colorado currently based in Boston. Her focus is in contemporary roots music, Americana, and Bluegrass. Jobi has received acclaim for her writing, including showcasing at the Durango Songwriters Exposition in 2015, being named a 2015 Young Arts finalist and winner in songwriting and winning a showcase spot as well as a recording grant in the Berklee Songs For Social Change 2016 contest. She’s been playing mandolin for five years and has recently began studying bluegrass guitar after initially learning the instrument to write songs. She is currently attending Berklee College of Music in the American Roots Music program.
